Artist Statement
A good designer is someone who is able to craft something visually to evoke an intended emotion or feeling. Understanding why different design elements make people feel different things is crucial to being a successful designer. Understanding the client and intended customer is important to encapsulate the client’s visual vision.
I love design because the world is filled with it, sometimes hiding in plan sight. I want to be a part of all the little design choices that make up people’s everyday lives. Also helping people visualize their ideas and help it come to life. Designers are not wildly known or acknowledged for their craft. More so they help amplify the idea, service, or product they are designing. Additionally, I love the depth design can have, and the meaning that is not so obvious at first glance. Being able to create something new and meaningful is what drives me to design.
